إنفض يديـكَ من الذنوبِ كفاها
واقبض لجامَ النفسِ قبل عزاها

فالمـوتُ لا يـدع الصـغيرَ لسـنِّهِ
كـلا ولا نـفـســـاً لـكــفِ أذاها

افـتـأمـنِ الدنـيـا لعـيـشٍ دائـمٍ
كم قـد تقـوَّل من بتحـتِ ثراها

من بثَّ رُعباً في القلوبِ جميعها
حـتـى وأُعـلِـنَ للجُـمـوعِ إلـٰها

فخُـذ المواعـظَ مـن كـتابٍ لمَّها
أسفي على من لا يخاف لظاها

إخـضـع لربِّك فالخـضوعُ مذلَّةٌ
إلا لـربِّـك مــن يـذِلُ تـبـاهـىٰ

تـالله مـا تـاجُ التَـرفُّـعِ جـوهـرٌ
بـل بـقـعـةٌ سـودا تَـعِـزُّ جِـبـاها

بالعِـلمِ والتقـوى تُسـرُّ نفوسُـنا
فاطـمـح لآخــرةٍ تُـلاقــي اللهَ

فإذا الدراهمُ للســعادةِ صُحبةٌ
فـالـدِّيـنُ صُـنِّـفَ أمَّـها وأبـاها
